Two 1/4" fishtail skew chisels, one with a 10-degree left skew and the other with a 10-degree right skew. Hardened to about Rc60 for optimal sharpness and edge holding capablity. Bubinga wood handles. Made in England by Ashley Iles. Router Boss machines cut true dovetails just like hand cut. Through dovetails and half-blind tails (drawer sides) require no hand work. Half-blind pins (common in drawer fronts) that are made with a straight bit have rounded corners that are best squared with a skew chisel. These chisels are ideal for that job. Skew chisels are not required for our alternative half-blind method which uses a dovetail bit for both the tails and pins

If you prefer to round over your tenons rather than square your mortises then this 8" medium-fine rasp is for you. It is hand cut by journeymen rasp makers in Austria and is far superior to typical machine made rasps. Wood handle included. Most rasps are machine made with teeth in rows, one behind the other. This results in the rasp cutting troughs instead of a smooth surface. Hand made rasps vary the teeth position so that each row of teeth cuts a slightly different path leaving a smooth surface.

Rather than using a round over bit, the easiest way to quickly radius the edges of your work is with a radius plane. Simply reach for this plane and go to work. Two carbide blades make the cut. The leading blade takes off most of the material while the trailing blade finishes the radius to a smooth finish. You will use this tool over and over again.
