The 3/8" and 1/4" bits have a 1-1/2" cutting length with 3-1/2" overall length. Made in USA. Spiral bits are in continuous contact with the wood. They cut clean and leave a superior finish. They can be used with both real wood and man made material. Up-cut spirals are the right choice for mortising since they lift sawdust out of the cut.
