DeWalt has discontinued the DW625 model and replaced it with a new DWE625 router, which does not fit our plunge assist accessory, but you can use it without the plunge assist. The DW625 is still available from some other suppliers and on eBay.
The DW625, the 2-HP DW621, and the new DWE625 have taps in their base plate for mounting directly to the Router Boss without any drilling required, and they all have conveniently located controls for Router Boss operation. You may also want to consider the Mikita RP2301 plunge router which also directly mounts to the Router Boss without any drilling required.
Other routers can be mounted by drilling the Router Boss acrylic plate or using 3M VHB (Very High Bond) double-sided tape (available on request). The transition plate shown in our manual is no longer available.
DeWalt routers are available from Grizzly, ToolUp, Authorized Tool Outlet, Acme Tools, and others.
