This miter gauge has an easy-to-read digital display, is constructed from
machined aluminum, and is suitable for square crosscuts and acute or obtuse
angles up to 70°. A cursor helps quickly find the approximate angle location,
while the easy-to-read digital display enables fine-tuning to 1/10th of a
degree.
The miter gauge head is semicircular with a spring-loaded push
handle, which rotates to clamp the head at the correct angle. The unit can
attach to an optional 18” or 24” precision extruded aluminum fence with three 1/4”
T-slots on the front and back faces and one on the top and bottom. Using the
center T-slot on the back face, the miter head can quickly attach to the aluminum
fence at any point. An included 19” or 25” x ½” sacrificial wood face attaches
to a T-slot on the front of the aluminum fence to provide zero-clearance support for breakout-free joinery cuts. For perfect cut repeatability, a provided flip-down stop attaches to the top of the T-slot.
The miter head unit requires a standard 2032 battery and
powers up instantly with a press of the on/off button. There is also a zero
button for calibration and a hold/flip button. The display turns off after 5
minutes to prolong battery life.
