Description

The Makita RP2301FC router with variable speed is a good fit for the Router Boss. Its powerful motor has variable speeds from 9,000 to 22,000 RPM, with a soft start and electronic speed control. It has a considerable 2-3/4” plunge depth and built-in twin LED lights for increased visibility. It has a smooth plunging action with one handle and works well without a plunge assist kit. We’ve predrilled Router Boss’s router plate for this router.

Note: For best operation, remove spring from plunge lock lever and adjust to prevent self-locking.
